When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data — your IP address, the page requested, date and time, referring page, and browser and operating system details. This data is required to deliver the site securely and reliably and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not merged with other data sources and is deleted after a short retention period.

4. Bookings and enquiries

If you make a booking or send an enquiry, we process the details you provide — such as your name, contact details, stay dates and guest numbers — in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and to perform that contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). This data is passed to the property management system used to operate the accommodation and, where you pay online, to our payment service provider, who processes the payment on our behalf. Card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are never stored by us. Where statutory retention periods apply, data is retained for as long as those periods require.

You have the right to request access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it rectified (Art. 16), erased (Art. 17) or its processing restricted (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your competent data protection supervisory authority.
